Bust of General Dimitrios P. Theodorakis

In November 2022, the unveiling of the bust of General Dimitrios P. Theodorakis took place in the settlement bearing his name in the Sacred City of Messolonghi. The honouree, who originated from Ambliani in Evrytania, was a heroic figure of the Second World War. He was the first to liberate Korçë and subsequently served as its military commander.
His almost unknown heroic course, through the efforts of his descendants and with the support of AEGEAS AMKE, has now found its place in the modern history of our country. The bust was created by the distinguished sculptor and professor at the School of Fine Arts, Nikos Georgiou.
