The Proteas Aperi Athletic Club (A.S. Proteas Aperiou) is one of the largest athletic clubs on the island of Karpathos, based in the village of Aperi. It was founded in 1928 in Aperi, while the club’s stadium was built and inaugurated in 1947. The club has consistently participated in local as well as inter-island basketball and football tournaments.
