A historical documentary produced by the Hellenic Foundation for Historical Studies (IDISME), with the support of AIGEAS, retraces the eventful past of the Theological School of Halki.
Following months of in-depth historical research, the Foundation’s research team traveled to Halki, Constantinople, Kalymnos, and Thessaloniki for the filming. They conducted interviews with former students of the School, professors, and the abbot of the Holy Monastery. An interview was also granted by Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, who graduated from the School in 1961.
The documentary is directed by Irini Sarioglou and Marina Leontari, with original music composed by Vassilis Dimitriou.
