Holy Church of Saint Paraskevi

The Holy Church of Saint Paraskevi is located in Plomari, on the island of Lesvos. It is one of the largest churches in the town, distinguished by its tall bell tower, which is visible from the harbor.
Its long-term exposure to the harsh coastal environment, combined with the earthquakes that have affected the island, caused dangerous corrosion of its structural reinforcements, requiring immediate intervention.
