Holy Church of Saint George

The Church of Saint George in Glyka Nera is a three-aisled basilica. It was completed in 2020, and its opening ceremony took place on 15 May 2022. Making use of the natural slope of the site, auxiliary spaces with independent access have been developed beneath the main church to serve the needs and activities of the parish. The church façades are finished with coloured stone cladding, while marble predominates in the interior.
