Holy Church of Saint Demetrios

The first brick-built Church of Saint Demetrios was constructed in 1929 through contributions from members of the local parish. Over time, as the population of the area grew, the church was no longer able to meet the needs of the faithful. As a result, in 1948, the construction of a larger church began, which was completed in its present basic form in 1956.

• Restoration of the exterior envelope of the Holy Church, including roof repairs, replacement of the exterior doors and windows, and repainting of the exterior façades.
• Conservation of the iconographic decoration of the Holy Church.
