1716: The Siege of Corfu

The bilingual commemorative album, published in Greek and English, was issued on the occasion of the events organized by the Friends of the Albert Cohen Memorial Foundation of Corfu to mark the 300th anniversary of the lifting of the Ottoman siege of the island in August 1716.
In addition to informative articles on the historical event, the volume includes rich illustrative material and excerpts from the diary of Field Marshal Schulenburg, referring to the most critical moments of the siege.
