The AIGEAS AMKE supported the organization of the Special Olympics Hellas National Games \u201cLoutraki 2026\u201d, which took place in Loutraki, Corinthia, from 8 to 13 May 2026, serving as a major celebration of sport, participation, and social inclusion.<\/p>\n\n
Hundreds of Special Olympics Hellas athletes from across Greece took part in the Games, accompanied by their families, coaches, and more than 100 volunteers. The event highlighted the values of equality, acceptance, and the meaningful inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities through sport. <\/p>\n\n
The Opening Ceremony was held at the \u201cPantelis Zervos\u201d Theatre, marking the beginning of a week filled with athletic effort, emotion, and collective participation. Throughout the Games, athletes, volunteers, and spectators shared a unique experience that demonstrated the power of sport to bring people together and foster respect for diversity. Through its support of the event, AIGEAS AMKE contributed to promoting the right of all people to participate in sport and to strengthening initiatives that advance social cohesion, equal participation, and inclusion. <\/p>\n\n
