It has been enriched with a multimedia exhibition that brings to life both momentous and everyday scenes from the era in which the last emperors of Byzantium flourished.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Visitors may explore the grand Throne Hall, located on the upper floor of the Kantakouzenos Building, and admire rare exhibits alongside digital reconstructions that illuminate the functioning of the administrative centre of the Morea during the first half of the fifteenth century.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a splendid ceremony attended by the country\u2019s political leadership and a large public gathering, the restored monumental complex of the Palace of the Despots in the Byzantine Castle City of Mystras \u2014 the most significant and best-preserved palatial city in Greece \u2014 was officially presented to the public on 21 May 2026.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The donation of AIGEAS AMKE to the Ministry of Culture encompassed the study, design, construction, and installation of the exhibition structures within the Throne Hall.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>DONATION OF THE NON-PROFIT CIVIL COMPANY AEGEAS<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Museographic and lighting design studies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design and construction of 22 freestanding display cases and bespoke exhibition structures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design study and installation of graphic applications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implementation study and production of interpretive material and interactive media: <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 production of interactive content for eight screens integrated into the bases of the display cases.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 holographic representations of historical figures from the late Byzantine period, developed on the basis of historical and visual documentation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The palace complex, dominating the famed \u201cSaragia tis Vasilopoulas,\u201d has been fully restored and, for the first time, made universally accessible to the public.
