The second volume examines the enduring consciousness of the Greek Nation and the role of the Church as a pillar of Hellenism, highlighting the importance of maritime activity and the institution of local communities, while also shedding light on figures such as Cyril Loukaris and Eugenios Voulgaris.<br\/>The third volume includes scholarly papers on revolutionary movements preceding 1821, while the fourth explores the differences between the European Enlightenment and the Modern Greek Enlightenment, outlining the ideological factors that led to the Revolution.<br\/>The fifth volume offers an extensive analysis of the international context and the interests of the Great Powers, and the sixth recounts the military conflicts of the struggle.
