Its interior is simply decorated yet imposing, owing to its considerable height and the visible architectural elements\u2014arches, columns, piers, and cornices\u2014painted in white and light blue.<br\/>Within the premises of the former School now operate the Primary School of the former Municipality of Exomvourgo (Kato Meri), as well as a Folklore Museum. The museum displays objects that bear witness to the institution\u2019s former prosperity: teaching materials and student registers, the school\u2019s pharmacy and infirmary, looms and students\u2019 handicrafts, books, paintings, musical instruments, tools, and items of daily life, as well as liturgical vessels and vestments.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Each summer, cultural events are held in the garden of the complex.<br\/>The donation of Athanasios and Marina Martinos concerned the restoration of the monastery\u2019s katholikon, which was facing significant problems, particularly with its roof. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DONATION OF THE NON-PROFIT CIVIL COMPANY AEGEAS<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Restoration of the katholikon of the Holy Monastery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The katholikon of the historic Ursuline Monastery at Loutra on the island of Tinos was rebuilt around 1870 and is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
