It had operated from 2005 until 2014, since when it remained closed because of the need for its renovation. This project was undertaken by Thanassis and Marina Martinos, who in 2020 gifted to Athens a veritable jewel for the city. The equipment \u2013 backed up by a host of actions according to age group \u2013 is very different from the conventional models for children\u2019s playgrounds in Greece, with activities also for children in wheelchairs, ensuring the greatest possible safety. Most of the equipment is made of wood and all the floorings are of water-permeable materials, fully attuned to the natural environment.
