EN CHORDAIS & ORGANOIS was founded in 2017 on the island of Syros, the birthplace of Markos Vamvakaris, following the encouragement of Stavros Xarchakos.
Its mission is to promote and safeguard the cultural heritage of rebetiko music and to operate as a hub of musical culture.
For many years, AIGEAS AMKE has provided financial support for the operation of the association.
