The General Panarcadian Hospital of Tripoli “Evangelistria” is one of the most historic healthcare institutions in the Peloponnese and a key pillar of public healthcare for Arcadia and the wider region. Its origins date back to 1896, when the “Hospital of Tripoli Evangelistria” was established by royal decree, following the initiative of the nun Anastasia Demesticha, whose name became closely associated with the construction of the first Evangelistria church in the area.
Over the course of its long history, the hospital evolved into a modern centre for secondary healthcare services, developing significant clinical departments and specialised units that have played a decisive role in providing medical care across the mountainous and semi-mountainous regions of the Peloponnese. At the same time, the continuous upgrading of its infrastructure and medical equipment further strengthens its role as a key reference point for public healthcare in the region.
AIGEAS AMKE proceeded with the donation of state-of-the-art medical equipment to the General Panarcadian Hospital of Tripoli “Evangelistria”, contributing to the upgrading of the Ophthalmology Department’s capabilities and enhancing surgical precision.
