AEGEAS AMKE, in collaboration with the Acropolis Museum and under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture, organised the Scientific Conference “Recent Archaeological Research in Greece” on 6–7 March 2026. The conference took place in the “Dimitrios Pandermalis” Auditorium of the Acropolis Museum and welcomed more than 300 attendees over the course of the two-day event.

The aim of the conference was to present to both the academic community and the general public the archaeological research projects supported by AEGEAS AMKE over the past 20 years. A total of 51 scientific papers were presented, covering archaeological excavations, research programmes, studies of archaeological material, and the conservation and restoration of monuments. These projects are being carried out by the Hellenic Ministry of Culture, Greek universities, and archaeological institutes across almost the entire territory of Greece.
