The Near East Relief orphanage in Syros.

AIGEA AMKE supported the publication of the book The Near East Relief Orphanage of Syros, released in conjunction with the exhibition “1923–2023 – The Near East Relief Orphanage of Syros.” The exhibition was presented at the Cyclades Gallery in Ermoupolis from 23 September to 17 October 2023, marking the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the largest orphanage in the Eastern Mediterranean. The publication sheds light on the history of the institution through archival material and texts by archaeologists, historians, architects, and other researchers (Diplografia Publications).
