Papadakeio Kindergarten of Glyfada

It is housed in a 1960s villa in Ano Glyfada. The beautiful house, with its large courtyard and lemon-tree garden, was the residence of Stratis Papadakis, a teacher at the 2nd Primary School of Glyfada. The couple were unable to have children; however, their home was always full of neighbourhood children playing in the lush garden. Stratis and Ioanna Papadakis wished that, after their passing, their home would operate as a kindergarten. For this reason, they bequeathed it to the Municipality of Glyfada. Today, 44 children attend the kindergarten.
