Kindergarten of Leipsoi

On the remote island of Leipsoi, a single-teacher kindergarten operates, attended each year by approximately 23 children. The school has both a morning and a full-day class—one of the first full-day kindergarten programmes to operate in Greece. In 2024, AIGEA AMKE made a significant contribution to improving the students’ school environment by funding the complete reconstruction of the school’s playground through a donation. It also covered the cost of an educational visit to Athens for the students and their escorts, enabling them to attend a children’s theatre performance.
