Kathenoi is a small mountain village of 630 inhabitants, in the Municipality of Dirfys–Messapia on the island of Evia. The Kathenoi Municipal Library was founded in September 2010. Today, its collection comprises 3,500 titles and is accessible to residents and students of 14 communities in the wider area.
