Football and basketball courts in Fouresi, Glyka Nera

In the Fouresi area of Glyka Nera, a modern public space for play and sports—one of the largest and best organised in the wider area—was inaugurated on 24 July 2023, in the presence of hundreds of citizens. The complex includes a playground, as well as football and basketball courts.
The playground was constructed through a donation by Mr Simos, in memory of his daughter, while AIGEA AMKE, through its donation, undertook the construction of the two sports courts. The facilities were designed with particular emphasis on ensuring safe and comfortable access for persons with disabilities and, more broadly, for individuals with reduced mobility.
