Democritus Racing Team

Democritus Racing Team (DRT) is the student team of Democritus University of Thrace, based in Xanthi, founded in October 2015. It consists of more than 35 undergraduate students, mainly from the Department of Production and Management Engineering, who collaborate on the design and construction of prototype single-seater vehicles.

Through its participation in the international Formula Student competitions, the team represents Greece, promoting innovation, applied knowledge, and technical excellence. Through its activities, its members gain valuable experience, bridging theoretical education with practical application and fostering a strong spirit of collaboration and creativity.
