Holy Church of Saint Nicholas

At the edge of Porto Beach in Vasilikos, Zakynthos, stands the Church of Saint Nicholas, built in a beautiful setting almost by the sea. The church was severely damaged and nearly destroyed by earthquakes, but its reconstruction was made possible through the donation of Athanasios and Marina Martinos.
It is a three-aisled church with a tiled roof, featuring simple white façades that harmonise with the rocky island landscape.
