Holy Church of Saints Eleftherios and Helen

The Holy Church of Saints Eleftherios and Helen was built in 1958 and is dedicated to the memory of Eleftherios Venizelos and his wife, Elena. Inside the church, Elena’s heart is preserved in a reliquary. Six of the icons of the iconostasis were painted by Fotis Kontoglou.
Recognising the chapel’s importance as a place of comfort and spiritual support for patients and their families, AIGEAS AMKE undertook the repair works with particular care and sensitivity.
